EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY/APPROACH
As Al Murooj early childcare providers, it is our responsibility to care for your children and nurture their physical, social emotional, creative and cognitive development and to motivate them to relate well with fellow peers
we provide children with time to discover, space to imagine and the opportunity to participate in a variety of exciting activities daily
Early childhood experts believe that
1) Play is the key element of learning for pre-kindergarten children
2) Imaginary play enhances the promotion of children’s cognitive, linguistic, social and physical development, Early childhood learning views play as the basis of our learning program
3) Interesting and important activities make children eager to learn new vocabulary, physical skills, social behaviors amongst other things. We learn by doing, creating and playing
We observe children’s spontaneous play, as a way of learning their ideas and feelings about the world. As such this is a rich source of ideas for activity planning
Understanding the developmental needs of various age groups, our daily activities allow children to be engaged. We use of age appropriate music to make circle time exciting. Playing with building blocks, play dough, sensory tables, soft toys and media are all forms of creative expression the we find thoroughly useful. Dramatic play and outdoor play are also part of the program, we take pride in the excellence that we witness from applying early childhood learning techniques.
